Mt. Spokane Ski Race Team SkiFit Kids dryland conditioning offerings strive to be inclusive and foster a lifelong love of sport while providing opportunities and baseline framework for later specialization.

U10/U12/U14 Dryland Camp - Sunday Aug. 25 / Monday Aug. 26 / Wednesday Aug. 28th @ Mt. Spokane Lodge 1.

     -Open to youth athletes aged 8-14, this three-day 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM camp will focus on dryland training, with emphasis on ski pole usage, agility, coordination and Fun! Athletes aged 15+ are welcome to join in the fun as peer mentors and are encouraged to reach out directly to Coach Cat (catharnden.mssrt@gmail.com).

SkiFit Kids: Manito Mondays! -Weekly Monday pre-season after-school dryland beginning Monday Sept. 9th at Lower Manito Park.

-Open to all athletes, this after-school 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM offering will take place at Manito Park, meeting at the Ducks Sculpture near the Lower Manito Park picnic Shelter by the pond. Athletes will participate in specialized agility, balance, coordination, drill work followed by games such as Capture the Flag and Speedball, with guided mobility to end the session. Athletes should arrive prepared with a water bottle, snack, outdoor running shoes, outdoor active clothing.

SkiFit Kids: Wednesday Alpine Adventures! - Weekly Wednesday pre-season after-school dryland beginning Wednesday Sept. 11th at varying trail head meet-up points throughout Central Spokane featuring Coach Elyse's favorite trails.

     -Open to all athletes, this after-school 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM offering will take place at hiking trails throughout Spokane. Athletes will participate in a longer sustained effort/lower pace distance session, with those looking to build top-end speed enjoying running interval set work. Athletes should arrive prepared with a portable water bottle, portable snack, outdoor running shoes, outdoor active clothing.
