Provides five days of training opportunity per week for U8, U10, U12 child-athletes from December 13th - March 22nd.

Schedule
This program is offered from December 13th - March 22nd. The typical Wednesday and Thursday night training includes on average, three hours of nighttime coaching. The typical Friday morning training includes on average, three hours of morning coaching. The typical Saturday and Sunday training days include on average, five hours of daytime coaching plus a 30-minute lunch break.
Program tuition also includes participation in the December 27-31 Holiday camp.

12:00 - 12:30 PM YSL Lunch on own at Lodge 1.
2:30 PM End Training + Parent Pick-up at Lodge 1 Slopeside on snow.
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM Coaches available in Lodge 1 for questions.

Late to arrive? If arriving after 5:00 PM start, send message of arrival in WhatsApp Group, then send athletes to top of training venue to check in on the start radio and wait for coach instruction.
Ability Requirements
Mt. Spokane Ski Race Team is a race program. The child-athlete must be able to manage all of their equipment independently. This includes putting their skis on and off, putting their boots on and off, loading and unloading the lift independently, skiing with poles. Child-athletes must be able to ski parallel on intermediate terrain.
Equipment Requirements
One pair of carving skis is recommended for U8 U10 child-athletes. Two pairs of junior race skis - one SL, one GS, is recommended for U12 child-athletes. Helmets, goggles, and poles are required. MSSRT provides a high-quality team coat included in tuition on a two-year cycle. Coats will arrive to be distributed at the start of our on-snow season.
Racing
Child-athletes compete in the EEYSL (Emerald Empire Youth Ski League) races. Race entry fees and US Ski and Snowboard membership are not included in program tuition. To purchase/renew USSS membership: (Member Registration Instructions).

Volunteer Requirements
